How do I know your watches are authentic?
Once your order is placed and payment has been verified, we carefully prepare your timepiece for shipment—typically within two (2) business days. All domestic orders are shipped via FedEx 2-Day, fully insured at no extra cost to you. If alternate arrangements are needed, we're happy to discuss custom shipping options.
What methods of payment do you accept?
At Art House Horology, we offer a selection of secure payment methods to ensure your experience is smooth and hassle-free:
- Bank Wire
- Zelle
- Cash (for in-person transactions only)
If you prefer to use a credit card or PayPal, you can make your purchase through our eBay store. However, please note that the price may be higher to account for their transaction fees.
While we are exploring the option of accepting credit cards directly in the future, we have yet to find a solution that both protects our business and doesn't impose a significant cost burden on our valued clients. Our current payment methods ensure that we can offer you the best possible price for each timepiece.
Do you ship to countries outside the USA?
Yes, we do ship internationally. If your country is eligible for full insurance coverage through our trusted third-party partner (paired with FedEx), we’re happy to send your timepiece your way. Please note that any VAT, import duties, or customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Art House Horology does not collect or cover these charges. International shipments may also incur an additional shipping fee due to the increased cost of insured global delivery.
Can I trade my existing watch towards my next one?
Yes, we welcome trade-ins from most luxury watch brands. To begin, we’ll ask for clear photos of your watch, along with details about its condition and whether it includes original box and papers. Based on that, we’ll provide you with an estimated trade-in value. If you’d like to move forward, we’ll send you a fully insured shipping label so you can safely send your watch to us. Once received, your timepiece will undergo a full inspection and authentication to ensure it matches the description provided. If everything checks out, we’ll finalize the trade—whether that means applying the value toward your next purchase, or settling any difference in value, either from you or from us. If the watch arrives in a different condition than expected, we’ll reassess and adjust the offer accordingly.

Ways to Sell Your Watch to Art House Horology
Sell Your Watch Outright
If you’re looking to turn your watch into cash—whether you're simply not wearing it anymore or just want to fund your next piece—Art House Horology can make you a competitive market offer. We base our offers on a variety of factors, including the current market demand, condition, and resale potential.
Most of the watches we buy are pre-owned and may require servicing, light polishing, and marketing—so our offers reflect those costs, along with the need to run a sustainable business. Once we agree on a price, we’ll send you a fully insured FedEx shipping label. After your watch arrives and passes our thorough inspection and authentication process, we issue payment within 24–48 hours using your preferred method.
If your watch turns out to be different than described—for example, not functioning properly, not authentic, or in significantly worse condition than expected—we reserve the right to revise our offer accordingly.
Trade In Your Watch
Trading in your current timepiece is a great way to offset the cost of something new. We accept most luxury brands, and we’ll just need a few clear photos and some basic info about its condition, service history, and whether it comes with box and papers.
Once we’ve reviewed the details, we’ll give you an estimated trade-in value. If you’re happy with the estimate, we’ll send a fully insured shipping label so you can send your watch in. After it arrives, our team will inspect and authenticate the piece. If everything matches the description, we’ll finalize the trade—either applying the value toward your new watch, or settling any difference in price.
Should the watch arrive in a different condition than described, we may need to adjust the offer before proceeding.
Consign Your Watch
Consignment is ideal if you're not in a rush and want to maximize your return. We work on your behalf to sell your watch at the best possible price, and only take a small percentage once it sells.
To start, send us details and photos of your watch. We’ll work with you to determine a strong listing price and send a consignment agreement outlining the terms, along with a fully insured FedEx label.
Once we receive your watch, we’ll handle everything—professional photography, detailed listings, marketing to our buyer network, and negotiation. If we receive any offers below the agreed list price, we’ll always reach out to get your decision.
After the watch sells, you’ll receive your payout minus our consignment fee.You can see our Consignment Fee Structure below.
What is your Consignment Fee Structure?
Our consignment service is designed to get you the most value for your timepiece, with a transparent and tiered fee structure based on the final sale price:
- Up to $5,000 – Flat fee of $500
- $5,000 – $15,000 – 10%
- $15,000 – $20,000 – 9%
- $20,000 – $25,000 – 8%
- $25,000 – $30,000 – 7%
- $30,000 – $40,000 – 6%
- $40,000 – $60,000 – 5%
- $60,000 – $100,000 – 4%
- Over $100,000 – 3%
This fee covers insured shipping to our location, detailed inspection, and authentication of your watch. If your piece requires a service or polish to be market-ready, those costs will be deducted from your final payout after the consignment fee.
Example:
If your watch sells for $5,000, the consignment fee would be $500.
If a polish is needed and costs $50, your final payout would be $4,450.
Note: We will never service or polish a watch without your express approval.
