Ways to Sell Your Watch to Art House Horology
Sell Your Watch Outright
If you’re looking to turn your watch into cash—whether you're simply not wearing it anymore or just want to fund your next piece—Art House Horology can make you a competitive market offer. We base our offers on a variety of factors, including the current market demand, condition, and resale potential.
Most of the watches we buy are pre-owned and may require servicing, light polishing, and marketing—so our offers reflect those costs, along with the need to run a sustainable business. Once we agree on a price, we’ll send you a fully insured FedEx shipping label. After your watch arrives and passes our thorough inspection and authentication process, we issue payment within 24–48 hours using your preferred method.
If your watch turns out to be different than described—for example, not functioning properly, not authentic, or in significantly worse condition than expected—we reserve the right to revise our offer accordingly.
Trade In Your Watch
Trading in your current timepiece is a great way to offset the cost of something new. We accept most luxury brands, and we’ll just need a few clear photos and some basic info about its condition, service history, and whether it comes with box and papers.
Once we’ve reviewed the details, we’ll give you an estimated trade-in value. If you’re happy with the estimate, we’ll send a fully insured shipping label so you can send your watch in. After it arrives, our team will inspect and authenticate the piece. If everything matches the description, we’ll finalize the trade—either applying the value toward your new watch, or settling any difference in price.
Should the watch arrive in a different condition than described, we may need to adjust the offer before proceeding.
Consign Your Watch
Consignment is ideal if you're not in a rush and want to maximize your return. We work on your behalf to sell your watch at the best possible price, and only take a small percentage once it sells.
To start, send us details and photos of your watch. We’ll work with you to determine a strong listing price and send a consignment agreement outlining the terms, along with a fully insured FedEx label.
Once we receive your watch, we’ll handle everything—professional photography, detailed listings, marketing to our buyer network, and negotiation. If we receive any offers below the agreed list price, we’ll always reach out to get your decision.
After the watch sells, you’ll receive your payout minus our consignment fee. Click here to view our consignment fee structure.
